First Rain is the official playtest world, and as of Playtest 0.1.0 you don't have to survive it alone. Parties are for tonight. Crews are for the long haul.
Start a party
Look at another survivor and hold E to open their menu, then choose Invite to party. They answer with Y or N from the card above their chat. A party holds up to 4.
What a party shares
- You see each other's name, health and direction anywhere on the map: through walls and trees, on the compass, and on the map (M).
- When you take a machine apart together, everyone in the fight shares the XP and the ledger credit.
- Party chat: press Enter, then type
/p, or pick the PARTY tab.
If you log off, your seat in the party is kept for 10 minutes.
Crews
A crew is the group you come back to: a name, a short tag shown after everyone's names, an emblem and a colour. Start one from the CREW tab in your pack (Tab). The crew's leader invites; anyone can leave. Crews are saved with the world.
Anyone can help
If a survivor is Down, anyone on the world can get them up with a Field Stim, party or not.
